Job summary

DPD Group in Howden is seeking a reliable LGV Driver to join our national transport team. You will operate a modern fleet, perform trailer swaps, GPS-based routing, and ensure deliveries nationwide while maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months of experience handling Class 1 vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of UK roads and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute nationwide collections and deliveries across the national network.
• Manage trailer swaps and live loading/unloading to keep the network moving.
• Use GPS and tachographs to plan routes and remain compliant.
• Maintain professional relationships with dispatchers and customers.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and prioritize safe driving.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be a key player in our national transport department, moving bulk collections between DPD sites and major customers.

Qualifications

What You Bring

• The License:Valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) Licence, CPC Card, and Digital Tachograph Card.
