A R Banks Civil Engineering Ltd invites applications for an LGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver with HIAB certification to support loading, delivery, and on-site lifts across projects.

You will operate HIAB loader cranes, position items on site, and coordinate with site teams. Based on the South Coast and national sites, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Hold a current HIAB / loader crane qualification.
• Experience delivering and lifting plant, materials, or specialist equipment.
• Confident carrying out lifting operations in line with site requirements.
• Understand the importance of communication, planning, and safe working practices.

About The Role

We’re looking for LGV Class 2 (Category C) drivers who hold HIAB / loader crane certification and have experience carrying out lifting and delivery work across varied project environments.

This role supports the transport and on-site lifting of plant, materials, and specialist equipment using rigid HIAB-equipped vehicles.

In Practice, The Role Involves:

• Delivering plant, materials, and equipment using Class 2 HIAB vehicles
• Operating the loader crane (HIAB) for safe loading and unloading
• Positioning materials and equipment accurately on site
• Coordinating with site teams to ensure lifts are carried out safely and efficiently
• Working across the South Coast and nationwide on a wide range of industrial, infrastructure, and specialist projects

The role suits experienced LGV Class 2 drivers who have experience operating loader cranes, understand safe lifting practices, and are comfortable working within structured site environments.
