Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Class 2 HIAB Driver for our Hull depot to cover temporary relief shifts with regular work for reliable candidates.

You'll deliver building materials to trade and residential sites, operate a vehicle-mounted HIAB, perform daily checks, and present a professional image at delivery points. Shift is 07:30–16:30, Mon–Fri, £16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (C) driving licence.
• HIAB certification (ALLMI or equivalent).
• CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• No DD/DR/IN10 on licence.
• Experience in construction supply or merchant industry is desirable.

The Best Connection are currently seeking a Class 2 (Category C) HIAB Driver for our client, a leading Builders Merchant, based at their Hull depot.

This is a temporary relief cover position, however, there is regular work available for the right candidate who demonstrates reliability and professionalism.

The Role:

Delivering building materials to trade and residential sites across the local area.

Operating a vehicle-mounted crane (HIAB) safely and efficiently for loading/unloading.

Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintaining records.

Acting as a professional face of the company at the point of delivery.

Shift Pattern & Pay:

Monday to Friday: 07:30 - 16:30

Hourly Rate: £16.00 per hour.

Requirements:

Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence.

Valid HIAB Certification (ALLMI or equivalent).

Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.

No more than 6 penalty points (for insurance purposes).

No DD's,DR's or IN10's on licence

Experience in the construction supply or merchant industry is highly desirable.
