Job summary

Stericycle in the United Kingdom seeks a Transport operative to contribute to the safe and timely movement of clinical and industrial waste. You will join the Transportation team and ensure compliance with EU Working Time directives and ADR regulations.

The role requires a LGV2 licence, Driver CPC, and flexibility for 5-from-7 shifts; training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC required.
• Previous driving experience preferred.
• ADR training is advantageous.
• Strong organization and teamwork.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings.
• Complete documentation related to drivers’ hours and Working Time Directive.
• Comply with Road Traffic Act, tachograph records, weight and speed limits.
• Adhere to ADR/hazardous goods regulations and SOPs.
• Serve as a courteous customer contact at delivery points and maintain professional conduct.
