Job summary

Stericycle in Bolton, United Kingdom seeks a Transport Driver to contribute to the safe and timely movement of clinical and industrial waste. You will work within the Transportation team, delivering excellent customer service while complying with EU Working Time Directive and ADR regulations.

Daily routes, paperwork, vehicle checks, and shifts 5 from 7 are expected. LGV Class 2 and Driver CPC are required; ADR training is preferred. A strong teamwork and safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent required.
• High School or equivalent required.
• LGV Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC required.
• ADR Training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings.
• Complete documentation related to drivers’ hours and WTD.
• Comply with Road Traffic Act, vehicle limits and tachograph records.
• Adhere to ADR/hazardous goods requirements.
• Serve as customer contact at delivery points with courteous conduct.
• Attend trainings and meetings, and cover shifts as required.
• Complete vehicle checks and report defects to coordinators.
