Job summary

Stericycle is seeking a professional LGV Class 1 driver to join the transportation team in the UK. You will move clinical and industrial waste safely, adhere to ADR regulations, and work with service managers to maintain customer satisfaction.

The role requires a full UK LGV 1 licence with C+E entitlement, Driver CPC, and a commitment to safe, compliant driving. WTD and ADR compliance are essential, with shift patterns including 5 from 7 and some holidays.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent is required.
• LGV Class 1 Licence (with C+E) and Driver CPC are mandatory.
• ADR training is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and follow daily routes and timings.
• Complete drivers hours and WTD documentation as required by law.
• Ensure compliance with Road Traffic Act, Tachograph, and weight/speed limits.
• Maintain ADR/Hazadous goods compliance where applicable.
• Perform vehicle checks and report defects to coordinators.
• Provide polite, professional service at delivery points.
