Job summary

Stericycle is seeking a LGV Class 2 licensed driver based in Ipswich to join the Transportation team. You will ensure safe, timely movement of clinical and industrial waste, while maintaining high service standards for customers and complying with EU WTD, ADR and related legislation.

Responsibilities include daily route planning, completing hours documentation, vehicle checks, and contributing to a professional company image through courteous customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Previous driving experience preferred.
• LGV Class 2 Licence and Driver CPC required.
• GCSE or equivalent education completed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily schedules to agreed routes and timings.
• Complete documentation related to drivers’ hours and WTD.
• Comply with Road Traffic Act, ADR/hazardous goods regulations, vehicle checks.
• Act as a customer contact at delivery point, maintaining courtesy.
• Attend trainings and shift-pattern requirements, flexible as needed.
