Job summary

Booker Group is recruiting a Class 2 Driver for Best Food Logistics in Royton. The role involves 48 hours per week with potential overtime, delivering to outlets nationwide, and maintaining LGV and safety standards. You will require a valid LGV Class 2 licence and CPC, with new drivers welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Essential: LGV Class 2 driving licence and a valid CPC card.
• Applications from newly qualified Drivers welcome.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers, intact, on time and in full as per the delivery schedule.
• Complete delivery documentation (delivery notes, credits, collections).
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and be responsible for your own and others' health and safety.
• Comply with Food safety legislation and Chill Chain standards.
• Ensure LGV is maintained and perform safety checks and defect book entries.
• Collect all empty equipment from customers.
• Cooperate with driver debrief procedures and undertake duties as directed by Shift Management.
