Job summary

Booker is seeking an LGV Class 2 driver to join our nationwide delivery network. You will drive across the UK, delivering goods to customers on schedule and in full, maintaining vehicle safety and documentation. The role involves manual handling, multi-drop routes and potential overtime, with a 48-hour week including Saturdays and public holidays.

Applicants must hold a current LGV Class 2 licence and a valid CPC. Newly qualified drivers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• LGV Class 2 licence and CPC card are essential.

• Ability to perform multi-drop deliveries across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers on time and in full according to the delivery schedule.
• Complete delivery notes, credits, and collections documentation.
• Adhere to Driving Legislation and Working Time Regulations.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures and take responsibility for own and others’ safety.
• Ensure compliance with Food safety and Chill Chain standards.
• Maintain LGV vehicle and perform safety checks / defect book.
• Collect all empty equipment from customers.
• Assist the Shift Management team and undertake other duties as directed.
