Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a driver to collect, load and transport waste from transfer stations and recycling centres around Hampshire. You will operate vehicles safely in line with UK regulations and perform daily vehicle checks.

The role requires a Class 2 licence with up-to-date CPC and Tachograph cards; RO-RO experience is an advantage. The employer highlights commitment to inclusion and a disability-friendly application process.

Job responsibilities

• Collecting, loading and transporting waste from our Waste Transfer Stations and Household Waste Recycling Centres around Hampshire
• Operating vehicles in line with UK traffic regulations ensuring safety for you and the people around you
• Checking the condition of your vehicle daily
• Ensuring your vehicle is kept neat and tidy at the end of your shift
• Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date and handed in daily
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation with relation to your duties including the security and weight of loads

What are we looking for?

• Class 2 licence and experience
• Up to date CPC and Digi / Tachograph card
• Experience in driving and operating Roll on Roll Off vehicle would be an advantage
