Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc is seeking a driver for commercial waste collection in Bedford area. You will drive to locations, move and empty containers, and ensure all paperwork and onboard data are submitted daily. The role requires a Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digi/Tachograph card, with occasional Saturday work.

Qualifications

• Perform daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.

Job Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving / emptying multiple commercial waste containers
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per our driver operator handbook
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including and weight of loads

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) licence
• Up to date CPC
• Digi / Tachograph card

Desirable Skills

• Waste Management experience / similar industry
• Ideally you will have Skip or RORO experience

Compensation & Hours
