Job summary

The Best Connection Group in Coleford is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) driver for trunking deliveries to regional hubs. A 18:00 start, Monday to Friday with potential weekend work, and regular ongoing assignments are available. PAYE rate of £17.51 per hour with weekly pay and holiday accrual.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and have no more than six penalty points (no DR, DD or IN). Newly qualified drivers welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform trunking work from Coleford to regional hubs with palleted Lucozade deliveries.

• Complete required paperwork/logs and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic checks.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.

The Best Connection is recruiting HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) Drivers for our client in Coleford. Experienced drivers and newly qualified passes are welcome, with regular ongoing work available for suitable candidates.

The Role

LGV C+E Driver required for trunking work from Coleford, using a Taut liner to deliver to regional hubs trailers of Lucozade products all palletised, no hand ball, majority of bay deliveries but some side loading will be required.

The Requirements

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence.

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.
