Job summary

The Best Connection Group in Coleford is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) driver for trunking deliveries to regional hubs. A 18:00 start, Monday to Friday with potential weekend work, and regular ongoing assignments are available. PAYE rate of £17.51 per hour with weekly pay and holiday accrual.

Applicants should hold a Class 1 licence, CPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and have no more than six penalty points (no DR, DD or IN). Newly qualified drivers welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

Perform trunking work from Coleford to regional hubs with palleted Lucozade deliveries.
Operate in a safe, compliant manner and adhere to tachograph rules.
Complete required paperwork/logs and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic checks.
Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routing.
