Job Opportunity: LGV Driver at Keenan Recycling

Start Time: 03:00

Shift: Monday to Friday (48 hours)

Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collaborate with waste management companies, brokers, and councils to collect food waste. Utilizing advanced technology, we transport waste to anaerobic digestion plants where it is converted into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel for transport.

The role of a LGV Driver involves collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.

This position is physically demanding, requiring early starts, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and the ability to work independently. It offers a chance to contribute positively to the environment and local communities.

Key Duties:

• Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
• Weekend work coverage where applicable
• Additional duties as necessary
• Hold a Class C Licence
• Proven safe and efficient driving record
