Shift: Monday to Friday (48hrs)

Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. Using high-end technology, we maximize the use of food waste by transporting it to anaerobic digestion plants, where it is converted into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel for transport.

Role Overview: LGV Driver

You will be responsible for collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.

This physically demanding role requires early starts and outdoor work in all weather conditions. It is ideal for those who enjoy working independently outdoors and want to make a positive impact on the environment and local communities.

Key Duties:

• Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
• Cover weekend work where applicable
• Perform additional duties as necessary
• Hold a Class C Licence
• Maintain a safe and efficient driving record
• Take ownership of tasks, prioritize effectively, and see them through to completion
• Apply good problem-solving skills
• Possess good geographical knowledge
• Work well within a team
