About Keenan Recycling

Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. Using advanced technology, we maximize food waste utilization by transporting it to anaerobic digestion plants, where it is converted into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel for transport.

Role of LGV Driver

The LGV Driver is responsible for collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis.

This role is physically demanding and requires early starts, working outdoors in all weather conditions. It is ideal for those who prefer working independently outdoors and want to contribute positively to the environment and local communities.

Key Duties

1. Multi-collections of food waste wheelie bins
2. Cover weekend work when applicable
3. Perform additional duties as necessary
4. Hold a Class C Licence
5. Proven safety and efficiency record as a driver
6. Ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritize, and complete them
