Job summary

Biffa Ltd is hiring an LGV Driver for the AM shift. Start time 04:00, Monday to Friday with overtime and occasional weekends on rota.

You will drive various LGV vehicles collecting and emptying bins for trade/food waste customers, working outdoors and using your own initiative to protect the local environment. Qualifications

• Valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / Driver Qualification Card.
• Knowledge of road safety and vehicle safety.
• Ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Understanding of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements.
• Ability to safely operate a large rigid vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Awareness of health & safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive LGV vehicles to collect and empty bins from customers.
• Work outdoors on a Monday to Friday schedule with overtime and occasional weekends.
• Work as part of a single person crew and contribute to local environmental improvement.
