LGV 2 Driver

Salary: £36,205 + meal allowance (£5 per day) + £1,000 retention bonus

Start Time: 04:00

Shift: Monday to Friday (48 hours)

Location: Salisbury Depot

Keenan Recycling, part of Biffa, provides food waste collection services for businesses including restaurants, hotels, care homes, hospitals, and prisons. We also collect food waste on behalf of waste management companies, brokers, and councils. Using high-end technology, we process food waste at anaerobic digestion plants, converting it into biogas for electricity, heat, or biofuel for transport.

The role of an LGV Driver involves collecting and emptying food waste wheelie bins on a multi-collection basis. This physically demanding role requires early starts, outdoor work in all weather conditions, and the ability to work independently. It offers a chance to make a positive impact on the environment and local communities.
