Job summary

Brighton & Hove City Council is seeking an analytic professional to support the Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programme. You will develop reporting and insight products, turning operational, financial and performance data into clear evidence to inform decisions for senior officers, programme boards and workstream leads.

Qualifications

Experience in performance, insight, data or analytical role within local government, the wider public sector or similarly complex organisations.
Advanced Excel skills and Power BI or similar reporting tools experience.
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and accessible way to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop reporting and insight products that support each stage of the programme from discovery through planning and implementation.
Turn operational, financial and performance data into clear insight for senior officers, programme boards and workstream leads.
Collaborate with LGR Programme Team, service areas and partner authorities to ensure timely, evidence-based reporting.
Produce dashboards, briefs and data packs aligned to priorities, milestones and outcomes.
