Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in the Kettering area is seeking a dedicated Level 4 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school. This full-time, term-time-only role starts September 2026 and offers the chance to support pupils' learning across year groups.

You will work with teachers and leaders to deliver high-quality support, help with interventions, SEN support, and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a school setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Assist in monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Provide classroom cover when required and support the wider school team.
