Job summary

St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School in Blyth is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant on an initial fixed-term contract. The role involves supporting planning, preparation and delivery of lessons, preparing resources, and assisting with pastoral support to pupils.

You will work across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, with a focus on helping pupils achieve their potential in a positive, inclusive environment. Term-time hours apply, with 31.5 hours per week plus 5 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths.
• A relevant qualification for the teaching assistant role.
• Good written and verbal communication and ability to work with staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of lessons.
