Job summary

Value Education LTD is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA3) for secondary schools in Oldham and surrounding areas. The role involves supporting teachers, delivering high-quality lessons, and helping pupils with targeted interventions.

The position is full-time, term-time only, with a start date asap. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent), experience in a school setting, excellent communication, teamwork, and a proactive approach to safeguarding and pupil

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in a secondary or mainstream setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are required.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality lessons.
• Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with SEND.
• Lead intervention and enrichment activities to boost pupil progress.
• Assist with classroom management, resource preparation, and displays.
• Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and extracurricular activities.
• Foster a safe, inclusive learning environment and build relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
