Job summary

Belvidere School in Shrewsbury invites applications for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Department. The appointee will support pupils with disabilities, assist with EHCPs, and work under supervision of teaching staff to enable access to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or complex needs would be advantageous.
• Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Attend to pupils' personal needs and assist with individual Education/Behaviour/Support/Mentoring Plans.
• Supervise and support pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring safety and access to learning.
• Assist teachers with lesson planning, evaluation, and adjustments to work plans.
