Value Education LTD is recruiting Level 3 Teaching Assistants for roles in Rochdale and surrounding areas. Opportunities span Primary, Secondary and SEN settings, with full-time and part-time arrangements and competitive pay dependent on experience.

As a Level 3 TA, you will support pupils with learning, development and wellbeing, working closely with teachers to create inclusive learning environments and contribute to pupils' progress.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Passion for supporting pupils to reach their potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a positive approach.
• Ability to work well in a school team.
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
• SEND experience welcomed for specialist roles.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning programmes.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs and SEND.
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide pastoral and behavioural support when required.
• Support pupils' academic, emotional and personal development.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Maintain records of pupil progress.
