Job summary

Nexus Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 3 at Bents Green School, Sheffield. The role supports pupils, plans with teachers, monitors progress and helps create an inclusive learning environment.

Offers permanent, term-time hours (34 per week) and a steady NJC pay band. Required is commitment to safeguarding, flexibility and a proactive approach to pupils’ social and emotional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant Level 3 or equivalent.
• Ability to support pupils with diverse needs and behaviour.
• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils and promote inclusion within the classroom.
• Work with teachers to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Maintain records and support assessment activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and liaise with parents as required.
• Support school safeguarding and welfare policies.
