Job summary

Oasis Academy Broadoak in the United Kingdom seeks a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the primary curriculum, including those with SEND and EAL. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, foster inclusion, and promote independence and self-esteem.

The role is 34 hours, term time only plus one week (39 weeks). Interviews will be held Tuesday 17th November. The school offers a warm, supportive team, CPD, and clear pathways for career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English & Maths (A–C).
• Experience in a school setting and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
• Experience in KS1 (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Support pupils—including those with SEND and EAL—to access learning and achieve their best.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and create a positive classroom environment.
• Promote inclusion, independence, and self-esteem for all pupils.
• Occasionally provide cover supervision and assist with planning and assessment.
