Job summary

Oasis Academy Broadoak in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils and reinforce inclusive learning. You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and foster a positive classroom environment, including pupils with SEND and EAL.

The role is 34 hours per week, term-time only plus one week (39 weeks), with progression opportunities and access to CPD. Applicants should have Level 3 qualifications and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English & Maths (A–C) are required.
• Experience in a school setting and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication, teamwork and behaviour management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils—including those with SEND and EAL—to access learning and achieve their best.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and create a positive classroom environment.
• Occasionally provide cover supervision and assist with planning and assessment.
