Job summary

Oasis Academy Broadoak in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, to access learning and reach their best.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English & Maths (A–C).
• Experience in a school setting and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuous professional development.
• Experience in KS1 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils—those with SEND and EAL—to access learning and achieve their best.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning environment.
• Promote inclusion, independence, and self-esteem for all pupils.
• Occasionally provide cover supervision and assist with planning and assessment.
