Job summary

TeacherActive is supporting a Newcastle primary school to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with a range of SEND across KS1 and KS2. You will deliver 1:1 and small group support, helping learners access the curriculum and build independence in a caring, resilient environment.

This long-term role is paid via PAYE with market-leading rates, ongoing CPD through My-Progression, and a referral scheme.

Qualifications

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School in Newcastle that is looking to appoint a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a caring and resilient individual who can provide consistent support to pupils with a range of complex SEND needs.

The school is looking to take on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to engage with learning, develop their independence and access the curriculum.

The successful Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children with SEND and complex needs
• Experience working across KS1 and KS2
• Experience providing 1:1 and small group support
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
