Job summary

Academics Doncaster is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to cover sickness and training days in Retford, Nottinghamshire. The role involves 1:1 and classroom support for primary pupils.

You will work from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, supporting the class teacher and helping create an inclusive learning environment while engaging pupils to reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Cache or NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• At least 6 months experience supporting children in the classroom.
• Willing to process an enhanced DBS certificate prior to commencing work.

• Supporting the class teacher by encouraging the completion of tasks
• Motivating and supporting pupils with their work
• Ensuring the learning environment is inclusive
• Helping pupils to understand their own minds and what subjects they can thrive in
• Setting up classroom displays and keeping the classroom orderly

• Monitoring the safety of all pupils within your care
• Following and adhering to safeguarding and behavior policies

Level 3 Teaching Assistant needed in Retford, Nottinghamshire (Temporary)

Academics, Doncaster (Education Agency) are working closely with primary schools based in Retford who are looking for level 3 qualified teaching assistants to join their team on a temporary basis covering things such as sickness and training days.

This role will be working closely with primary aged pupils supporting in both a 1:1 and class capacity.

Working hours are between 8.30AM and 16:00PM.
