Job summary

Castle School Cambridge is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our thriving specialist school for children and young people aged 2-19 with complex needs. You will support therapeutic teaching, work with teachers and other TAs, and contribute to the school’s ethos under the “Together We Learn” mission.

You will participate in team meetings, provide written reports when required, and support safeguarding with enhanced DBS checks and pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people.
• Experience in a school or care setting preferred.
• Willingness to participate in team meetings and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Classroom Teacher and other Teaching Assistants.
• Contribute to therapeutic teaching and the school ethos.
• Attend team meetings and provide written reports when required.
