Job summary

Oasis Academy Broadoak is seeking a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our values-driven primary school. You will support pupils—including those with SEND and EAL—to access learning and flourish in an inclusive, caring environment.

The role is 34 hours, term time only plus one week (39 weeks). Join a supportive team, with strong mentoring, CPD and career progression. Interviews will be held Tuesday 17th November.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification and GCSEs in English & Maths (A–C).
• Experience in a school setting and knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and behaviour management skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and continuing professional development.
• Experience in KS1 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils—including those with SEND and EAL—to access learning and achieve their best.
• Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning environment.
• Promote inclusion, independence, and self-esteem for all pupils.
• Occasionally provide cover supervision and assist with planning and assessment.
