Job summary

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working within a school
• SEN experience would be an advantage
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm and consistent way
• A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and school policies
• The ability to follow safeguarding guidance and report concerns appropriately
• A current DBS, or willingness to apply for a new one
• A driving licence is preferred
• A positive and flexible approach to supporting pupils across different year groups

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Work with a range of needs including challenging behaviour
• Follow safeguarding guidelines and report concerns
• Deliver support within normal school hours - 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Collaborate with classroom staff to support learning and behaviour
