Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in Folkestone, UK. The position runs 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an ASAP start. You will support children across Key Stage 1 and 2 in a dynamic school environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 TA qualification, has school-based experience, is comfortable managing challenging behaviour, and has safeguarding knowledge with a DBS in place or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• SEN experience is desirable.
• Able to confidently manage challenging behaviour.
• Good knowledge of safeguarding procedures and school policies.
• Understands the importance of reporting concerns and following safeguarding processes.
• Patient, dependable and able to work well with pupils and staff.
• DBS in place, or willing to apply for a new one.
• Driver preferred
