Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Worsley, Salford. The role is full-time with a September 2026 start and offers competitive daily pay of £110-£120 depending on experience.

The successful candidate will support teachers across subjects, provide targeted interventions and prepare learning resources while fostering an inclusive, safe learning environment and tracking student progress with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in UK secondary education.
• Level 3 TA or equivalent qualification.
• Proactive and adaptable in supporting student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across subjects.
• Provide targeted intervention and small group support.
• Assist in planning and preparing learning resources and activities.
• Support students with varying learning needs to stay engaged.
• Monitor student progress and give feedback to staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and a safe school environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, pastoral teams and external agencies.
