Green Lanes Primary School in Hatfield is offering an Apprentice SEND Teaching Assistant role as part of the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standard. You will work with the SENCO and experienced teachers to support pupils with SEND, access learning, and develop confidence and independence.
The apprenticeship provides hands-on classroom experience, a nationally recognised qualification, and potential for a permanent position after completion.

We are a 2 form entry Primary school situated in Hatfield with 420 pupils from Reception to Year 6.

As an Apprentice SEND Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with SEND both in and out of the classroom, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. Working alongside experienced teachers and the SENCO, you will assist with tailored interventions, adapt learning resources, support personal care where required, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
