Job summary

Oasis Academy Hobmoor is seeking two Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to join our Good academy, offering a welcoming family environment and strong CPD opportunities.

The role is fixed-term with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate, primarily supporting in-class learning, personalising strategies for students with SEN and autism, and assisting across the academy as needed. Salary is circa £29,000–£31,000 FTE, pro-rata for a 39-week year at 32.5 hours.

• We require two Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistants.
• FTC with the possibility of permanent for the right candidate.
• Understanding of SEN, autism and strategies to support would be advantageous.
• Able to support elsewhere across the academy and ensure our students are given targeted support to thrive.

About our Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy

We are looking for 2 Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistants. The role is FTC with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

We're looking for a TA's who will support in class and help to personalise learning for their designated students. An understanding of SEN, autism and strategies to support would be advantageous. You'll also be someone happy to support elsewhere across the academy and ensure our students are given the targeted support to thrive.

Ultimately no two days will be the same, you'll learn lots about our students and be a key person in their lives.

You’ll be joining an Academy where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We do not have a large turnover of staff at Oasis Academy Hobmoor and this is a reflection of this. We're very proud of our students who are our why.

We have a modern purpose built academy with outstanding facilities at Hobmoor and we encourage you to come view them. We have lovely outdoor spaces including our own multisport pitch, Forest School and greenhouses utilised in our roots to fruit programme. We are proud to work closely with our Oasis community hub (on site) who provide lots of out of school activities for our students and support for our community.

What will you get in return?

Salary: FTE circa £29,000 - £31,000 based on experience. Actual salary: will be pro-rata as the role is on a 39 week a year contract, with a 32.5 hour working week. (8:30 - 16:00)
