Job summary

Oasis Academy Hobmoor in Birmingham is seeking two Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistants to support learners with special educational needs. The role is a fixed-term contract with potential permanency for the right candidate, working a 32.5 hour week on a 39-week year.

You will assist in class, personalise learning, and support across the academy. Experience with SEN and autism is advantageous, and you will help students thrive through targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 SEN TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting learners with SEN and autism an advantage.
• Ability to personalise learning and adapt strategies to individual needs.

About our Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy

We are looking for 2 Level 3 qualified SEN Teaching Assistants. The role is FTC with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

We're looking for a TA's who will support in class and help to personalise learning for their designated students. An understanding of SEN, autism and strategies to support would be advantageous. You'll also be someone happy to support elsewhere across the academy and ensure our students are given the targeted support to thrive.

Ultimately no two days will be the same, you'll learn lots about our students and be a key person in their lives.

What will you get in return?

• Salary: FTE circa £29,000 - £31,000 based on experience.
• Actual salary: will be pro-rata as the role is on a 39 week a year contract, with a 32.5 hour working week. (8:30 - 16:00)
