Job summary

Carmarthenshire County Council is seeking a proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support in an ALN class at Ysgol y Felin in Llanelli. You will work alongside teachers and fellow assistants to deliver engaging activities and support learners with diverse needs.

The role is permanent, term-time only, with a salary of £30,723 - £35,019 and a 27hrs 30mins contract. DBS check will be required and Welsh language ability is optional.

Qualifications

• Active and enthusiastic Level 3 assistant to support in a class within the ALN Centre.
• Willingness to work as part of a team with teachers and other assistants.
• DBS check will be required and Welsh language ability is optional.

Responsibilities

• Support in a class within the Additional Learning Needs Centre.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver learning activities.
• Assist with pupils' needs and welfare in a supportive environment.
