Job summary

Clarence House Day Nurseries Ltd in Luton is seeking a Level 3 qualified Room Leader to join our team. You will be working 40 hours a week at £14 per hour, delivering high standards of education and care to children aged 12 weeks to 5 years.

You will lead, mentor and support the room staff while liaising with parents and other childcare professionals under the guidance of the Nursery Manager. DBS checks will be provided and ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent Early Years Childcare / Nursery Nurse qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a nursery after qualification.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Awareness of planning, observing and record-keeping procedures.
• Understanding safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the highest standard of education and care is provided to children in your charge.
• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the room.
• To supervise, mentor and support the staff team.
• To liaise with parents, carers and other childcare professionals, providing information as appropriate under the guidance of the Nursery Manager.
