Job summary

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a welcoming nursery in South Liverpool, seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a competitive hourly rate and a supportive team focused on high standards of care and education.

You will work with children aged 0-5, providing quality care, planning activities, observing development and documenting learning journeys in line with EYFS principles and safeguarding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years environment.
• Passion for supporting young children's development.
• Caring, enthusiastic, patient and reliable.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Good communication with children, parents and professionals.
• Team player and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children aged 0-5.
• Support learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Complete observations and contribute to learning journeys.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Promote development across social, emotional, physical and educational areas.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver outstanding early years provisions.

Education
