Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis in South Liverpool. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 within a welcoming nursery.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring safeguarding, recording observations and supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS, while fostering strong communication with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare is required.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
• Demonstrates care, enthusiasm, patience and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5.

About the Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0–5.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
• Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children’s individual interests, needs and development.
• Completing observations and contributing to children’s learning journeys.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Promoting children’s social, emotional, physical and educational development.
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to provide outstanding early years provisions

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Have previous experience working within a nursery or early years environment.
• Have a genuine passion for supporting young children’s development.
• Be caring, enthusiastic, patient and reliable.
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Be confident communicating with children, parents and other professionals.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Be committed to providing the highest standard of care and education.
