Willing Recruitment is supporting an Outstanding Ofsted-rated nursery in Watford to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner. The role offers a salary of £29,900 per annum and a welcoming, child-centred setting with Forest School and free-flow indoor/outdoor learning.

You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, support childrens' wellbeing, plan engaging activities, and foster curiosity while maintaining safeguarding standards. Excellent benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Good safeguarding and child protection knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Nurturing, child-centred approach to childcare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Plan and participate in engaging activities based on children's interests and needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and curiosity.
• Support outdoor learning, including Forest School activities.
• Observe and monitor children's progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Maintain safeguarding and nursery standards at all times.
