Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You will support early years development in nurseries and settings, creating safe, nurturing environments for children.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, have nursery experience, understand EYFS, and demonstrate caring, reliable, and team-focused attributes. Flexible full-time and part-time opportunities are available through TeacherActive.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Experience in nursery or Early Years setting preferred.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Caring, patient, enthusiastic and reliable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and learning opportunities for children.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's social, emotional, physical and educational development.
• Work in line with EYFS framework.
• Observe and monitor children's progress and development.
• Contribute to learning records and development plans.
• Support children's routines and needs.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
