The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's development during their early years.

• Providing high-quality care and learning opportunities for children
• Planning and delivering fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
• Supporting children's social, emotional, physical and educational development
• Working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Observing and monitoring children's progress and development
• Contributing to children's learning records and development plans
• Supporting children's individual routines and needs
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

• Hold a relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification
• Have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Be caring, patient, enthusiastic and reliable
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be confident supporting children's individual learning and development
• Be able to build positive relationships with children and families
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
