Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Bolton team (BL1). You will deliver high-quality early years education, foster curiosity, and create a supportive, engaging learning environment for children aged 0-5.

The role involves acting as a Key Person, planning daily activities aligned with EYFS, building strong relationships with families, and upholding safeguarding and safety standards. 40 hours/week, on-site in Bolton.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: Full and relevant Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare / Early Years Education (or equivalent).
• Experience: Hands-on experience working in an early years setting (ages 0-5).
• Knowledge: Up-to-date EYFS guidelines and safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking progress and supporting individual learning goals.
• Plan and facilitate stimulating daily activities aligned with the EYFS.
• Build trusting relationships with parents and families, sharing regular progress updates.
• Maintain rigorous standards of child protection, health, safety, and hygiene across the setting.

Hours: ~40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, rotas between 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

Salary: £14.25 - 16.38
