Job summary

Marylebone Services is seeking Level 3 Nursery Practitioners for temporary roles around London, offering flexible hours during term time or all year round to suit you.

You will deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS, plan and run engaging activities, observe and record progress, and contribute to individual learning plans while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment in collaboration with the nursery team and families.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years or equivalent.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and experience planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities.
• Demonstrated skills in child observation, record-keeping, and contributing to developmental and learning plans.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment, with safeguarding and health and safety awareness.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and colleagues.
• Capacity to work flexibly in a busy nursery setting, including teamwork and time management.
• Understanding of inclusive practice and ability to support children with diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Relevant checks including enhanced DBS clearance and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Experience in nursery or early years settings

Job description

We are looking for Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our team and work on a temporary basis where you can have benefit of flexible working in and around London.

You can choose to be offered work during half term/term time only or all year round if you would prefer.

You will provide high-quality care and education for young children, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, maintaining a safe and stimulating environment, observing and recording children’s progress, and contributing to individual learning plans.

The role involves working with other team members, building positive relationships with children and families, and supporting the nursery’s policies on safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusion. The practitioner will also assist with routine tasks such as mealtimes, personal care, and room preparation, while promoting a respectful and nurturing atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Education or equivalent).
