Job summary

Randstad NV in Horley, Surrey is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will care for children aged 0-5, plan learning activities, and support safeguarding and daily routines in a warm, stimulating setting.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, EYFS knowledge, and an enhanced DBS. You will build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a safe, happy environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and understanding of child protection guidelines.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• DBS check enhanced or willingness to obtain before starting.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - Early Years Educator (Horley)

Are you a passionate and qualified Early Years Practitioner looking to make a real difference in children's lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team in Horley. Employment Details:

• Location: Horley, Surrey
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection guidelines.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
