Level 3 Nursery Nurse / EYFS Practitioner

The Headteacher of a reputable Primary School in Chorley is looking for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their oversubscribed Nursery Class within the school. This is a full-time opportunity working alongside professionals passionate about Early Years. The role begins on Monday 1st September 2025 and continues until May 2026. Working hours are 8:45-15:15, Monday to Friday, during term time only. This role has been created due to a staff member going on maternity leave.

The school prides itself on positive relationships with parents and the community. It offers a stimulating, creative learning environment for young pupils, with excellent facilities and a newly refurbished outdoor learning area.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education.
• Experience working with children within the EYFS, including planning and delivering the curriculum.
• Experience observing, monitoring, and recording children's development.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in a busy environment.
• Ability to liaise confidently with parents of young children.
