Job description

1. To welcome and assist a child(ren) on arrival and departure
2. To provide comprehensive verbal handover to parents;
3. To ensure the child(ren) feel included with their peers at all times including snack and mealtimes;
4. To provide constant supervision and support;
5. Provide daily assistance and support to all children as required;
6. Support and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum;
7. Contribute to planning and preparation of daily activities;
8. Provide a safe and stimulating environment for all children; and
9. Promote the welfare of children and young people.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

1. GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English (or equivalent);
2. Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards;
3. Update to date knowledge of current educational practice – latest EYFS (September 2023);
4. Ability to use information technology to supplement education (Iconnect/Parentzone);
5. Proven skills in working with children and understanding their needs; and
6. Enhanced DBS check.
